I would choose Thomas Frank, just give him a decent wage hike and a few quid on a couple of players in the January window

I’ve been screaming for Unai Emery since September but Villa we’re quick to act.
There’s no one of quality available or realistic.
No point sacking Moyes and getting Dyche, Gerrard, Bruce, Dean Smith…etc

Hasn’t he just signed a new contract
Would cost top dollar but I’m not against it.
Just want a progressive coach who plays good attacking football which would utilise our squad

I don't think Frank will be interested either.....we've really lowered our stock and any decent manager will look at the unrest and too many new players in one go trying to find their feet.

pointless question because they have no intention of sacking Moyes, hang the consequences. We wil either pull out of this tailspin and stabilize / surivive and who knows even win the Euro, or it will either backfire spectacularly and they will look like utter fools, but they will be doing it with Moyes at the helm, Shirley.

Unless Potter gets the sack it’ll be Steve Gerrard or Rafa.
They’ve already leaked the fact they’re doing it on the cheap and want PL experience.

Not sure who I’d choose personally, but actually I’d think we are a tempting proposition with the squad we’ve got. Any decent manager will fancy his chances of getting far far more out of them with not too many changes.
Sullivan is the only sticking point. Can they trust him not to meddle or undermine them and to give them what they want?

I was reading Tony Carrs book and there is a Q and A with Rio in it and they both mention Pochettino as taking an interest in the youth teams and development of younger players. So he would get my vote

in fantasy land it would be Pochettino, but I live in reality. IF Moyes goes it will be someone underwhelming.

As mentioned below, Ex and others have heard it will only be someone out of work to keep the costs down and someone who has good Premier League experience. As many of us have predicted for a very long while it will likely be Benitez. Another who’s tactics are 20 years out of date.

Poch and Tuechel wouldn’t come, they want champions league sides. Frank would be tough to get, realistically it’d be Potter when Chelsea sack him

Loads to choose from, I would take any of:
Pochettino, Tuchel, Mancini, Thomas Frank, Postecoglou, Hasenhuttl, Bielsa, Gallardo, Potter
Probably end up with (after the window so no money can be spent) Noble, Warburton, Dyche, Benitez, Bruce, Hughes

I would take Tuchel. An upgrade on Moyes (but not that much of a difference in style of play that we need to go out and buy a new squad)
Also look what he did at Chelsea after Fat Frank, When FF was there you could score for fun. In comes Tuchel and makes them near impossible to beat with zero signings.
May only last a couple seasons as from the sound of it can start an Argument in a phone box
